holmes editing
Yes, that's me on the right. Good head for radio! I started Holmes Editing (I know, well thought out name) about 15 years ago. I came to the realisation that I love post-production in pretty well all it's forms. I'm happy cutting, finishing, doing VFX, set supervision; in fact, any of the disciplines, love 'em all. What I'm really excited about these days is having the ability to travel with my gear to a client's premises and offer pretty much everything I could when I had my own post house (except a coffee machine and a bar fridge) but I'm more that happy to do a runner to the cafe/bar. I actually still have an office where I work out of which can accommodate clients if needed; it has coffee (from the market) and a bar fridge (albeit much smaller).
Another nice thing these days is the opportunity to create content across lots of different platforms; it's now not important how people see content, what's important is that they do get to see it. I think I've probably banged on long enough now; if you want to have a chat about a project (or anything at all actually) give me a call or drop me a line from my contact page. Thanks for the taking the time to have a look at the web site, cheers, Jon PS For those interested, I use Avid, FCP, Flame, Smoke & After Effects.
